Sunshine Coast Weather

"Queensland - Beautiful one day, perfect the next." Queensland Tourism’s favourite quote and few places in Queensland live up to this claim better than the Sunshine Coast region.

The Coast enjoys an average of about seven hours of sunshine each day, so by world standards, the region has well and truly earned its name. In summer (December to February) temperatures range from 17-28 degrees; with the highs normally tempered by cooling sea breezes. Noosa, Coolum, Mooloolaba, and Caloundra provide the perfect summer family getaway with sun, surf, sand and everything else to guarantee a great time.

The Sunshine Coast enjoys mild winters and is an ideal place to visit all year round.

If sun and surf aren’t your thing, Montville, Mapleton and Maleny in the Hinterland are just a short drive from the coast and provide a peaceful place to relax and unwind while enjoying the local arts ad craft markets.
